Just booked myself onto this ride, doing the full route+

Not sure what I am letting myself in for!,

Has anyone done it, if so any tips, e.g. what the best gears/bike to use?

I might use my old Dawes super galaxy, as its a triple.

Well what a day,
great weather, a great ride, another one done.

I used my old dawes, took off the mudguards, and the rack, and pump up the tyres, I think it was the was the right bike to take, as some of those hills, were steep,
going up gold hill, was easy. But some 20% hills just went on too long,
but all good fun.
will do it again for sure.
