So what is the correct price?

£999.

The name Claud Butler has a certain mystique among non cyclists or casual cyclists of my generation. Even in their heyday they were never anything special over what your local lightweight shop used to sell, but CB was a very clever marketer and long after the brand had gone through a number of owners producing mostly gas pipe specials it was quite common to hear, "Wow, it's a Claud Butler", from those who thought they were the sought after bike of every cyclist.

Rather like Harleys in the powered two wheel world.

My father (would be120+ this year ) used to say CB had two golden years, first prewar and second when Holdsworth first took them over. A mate of his had a Torino and it was quite lovely -looking.

I think the decimal point's in the wrong place - £371.88  - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/226636352146

Edit - the price appears to have been reduced to £31.92

Since it's a random do you want to go halves?!

I wonder how it goes from memory those wheel chair motors are really low geared and also inefficient being worm gears (my basic engineering knowledge is pretty rusty through!)

No battery so you could knock them down to pay for a lithium battery about 100amp so say £300 therefore you £250 under so suggest he pays you £250 to take it away!!

Interesting though probably rubbish though!

Have you asked him Dave?!!

@Jameshow - I have NO intention of asking given the 'discussion' I've had with SWMBO today, the result of which is four bikes are on sale.

Adding another project wouldn't be sensible. But ... I can't see anyone bidding so enjoy the tinkering :okay: . I can imagine it'd go with a bang.
