The day is finally here...

OK folks, Today i can finally make my Cycling debut! Albeit after work about 6pm. I have planned myself a simple 6 mile route (too ease myself in) Through Queens park, Heywood, Then the old Chadwick lane to Castleton, Back to Heywood on the Main drag then cut through Crimble lane upto The Top Road, Then round to Bamford road and Home., Both off road and on road.
I have got my Padded shorts ready (I might be brave and wear them without Baggies ) - Also a thin cycling top and a light water-proof Jacket! Wish me Luck guys!
I also predict tomorrow, My behind will be tender! ooer! lol.

Did he buy any - hang on Decathlon sell bikes with lights - so he maybe a while. Lost on the Moors.

True that Fossy, lol, the lights that came on my girlfriends Triban 3 were beyond sh*t so if he is relying on the same/similar he may well be a while yet. However that being said my lights also suck, they were fine for the purpose I bought them for (being seen when riding within a city on well lit roads) but a recent foray alerted me to the need for some lights that will actually light the way!

Anyway, how was the ride Gaz?
