The Captain Cook Challenge.

A new Sportive Event was launched in our area today, have a look at our ride report to see how much we enjoyed it.
It was the Captain Cook Challenge, 2 distances, 57 0r 87 mile. Great fun.

Looks like a great day out.

A couple of lads from our club (Sunderland Clarion) did the 87miler. I have'nt heard from them yet so lets hope they got round ok.
I was pencilled in for this one myself, but unfortunately I was at work today.

Well the reults, as well as the photo's were published today, and I must admit to being fairly pleased.
I managed a 3rd place in the 57 miler, and also managed to look dashingly handsome on the photographs.

I'd recommend this to anyone fancying a ride in the North York Moors next year.
