I won a solar power mobile phone charger in a competition at work... and the damn thing fried my phone.

Unmendable, fused, fried, frazzled, blown. Lost all my numbers and everything, including all the hot texts i had on there off this guy so now i can't blackmail him LOL

had to go and get a new phone so decided to get a HTC phone. i'm confused. anyone know how to work this thing.

I have a HTC Desire and to be honest it was a bit weird coming from the world of Nokia. But I love it now and wouldn't be without it. Sorry to hear about your prize!

You must have some nice weather in Solihull (if that's any consolation).

When I thought I'd lost my camera (left on the ferry) I replaced it with a pricier type (Lumix TZ series) I would have bought a couple of years ago if I'd had the dosh. Having taken a few pics with it I know it was a blessing in disguise.

i'm getting used to the touch screen now and a couple of times i had to ask my friend stuff but actually it's quite cool. on the front is a weather icon for my "current location" . Today when i turned it on it snowed on my screen because it said "snowy" on the forecast. later my screen got "clouds" on it. how cool is that! . i keep turning the screensaver on and off to watch it. i found a wallpaper on the phone that is grass blowing in the wind, and the sky goes the same colour as day or night (with stars!) so that looks cool with the clouds and snow ha ha (simple things eh)

i find typing is better if you turn the phone to the side. keyboard is then bigger

battery life is a bit naff (not helped by me playing with the phone all the time) but my mate says there is some kind of app or something you do to the phone which saves battery life, she's gonna show me when i get back to work.

also, she told me, if you plug the phone into your laptop, the laptop uses the phone internet so you don't have to have broadband! cool!

A lot of my friends are on Orange at work and are always having problems, so I turn mine into a mobile hotspot to keep them happy.

Oh, and if you click the weather under the main clock, press menu then Demo you can see all of the weather animations at the swoosh of a finger
