What struck me was the open running and speed. Rugby seems to be stuck in a vicious cycle of big men grinding their way through rucks and mauls.
The game seems bigger, more powerful and somehow dull.

The modern defensive line is too well coached. The players are fitter and the game is the worse for it in some areas.
