... has struck again... one on front tyre last Sun, one on rear tyre today!
I wouldn't mind, but I've had more trouble since getting my "puncture resistant" Schwalbes than I had with my cheap and nasty Kenda wotsits that came with my bike.. grrr... still, could be worse, eh
Any recommendations folks, wihout breaking the bank?

Pro Race 2 or 3's - but they aren't cheap, but for a race tyre they is good !!!!!

I'm on my third set of Specialized Nimbus Armadillo. Had one puncture in about eight years and that was a direct hit by a very thin metal tack when the tyres were worn very low.

Bontrager race lite hardcase. On my second set after many thousands of miles touring and leisure with one single punture, which was a huge staple going right through about 1cm area of rubber.

Only the schwalbe ones would have stopped that, but at twice the weight.

I had my first puncture on my way to work for months last Monday. Thousands of flat-free commuting miles ended when I heard hissing from my front nearside tyre. The Schwalbe kojak tyres with slime sealant are great but when they do flat, the slime goes all over the inside of the tyre, all over the tube and all over the wheel-arch and thus repairing it is a messy operation.

I had a pnucture in an oversized knobbly. After I had put it back on I lost two tubes in a short space of time with snapped valves.
No matter how hard I pumped the thing up , the tyre would slip round the rim. I imagine it had been glued on before.
Following a change of tyre all has been OK
