Well, I took your advice and looked around further.
I tried the Trek 7.2 FX WSD Ladies Hybrid and was impressed by its light weight.
I couldn't find a Cube Ltd Cls Ladies locally. Leisure Lakes are still waiting for them.
I just about fell in love with the Specialized Ariel Sport Disc, which Vickster recommended, just by looking at the picture (aah!)
Arranged a test ride on it at Evans yesterday.
Took a little time to weigh up the pros and cons, and RODE IT HOME TODAY!
I love it! Just waiting for the new light to charge up before I can take it out in the dark.
I've had my old combination lock for over 30 years and never been too security conscious with my older 'Granny looking' bikes. (Nothing against Grannies or old bikes. I love them all.) BUT I do need a good, not too heavy and preferably combination lock, for the new machine.
Any suggestions?
Just logging off now to look at my new bike.
Thanks again.
