for helping me out by sorting out my broken chain for gratis, especially as it was the powerlink inexpertly installed by me that was the problem. it was a bit of an emergency as i was supposed to be getting the shopping and time was tight.

i am on good speaking terms with the proprietor, but that does not entitle me to such kindness and i would happily have paid the few quid the job was worth (new powerlink and a standard link or two)

you hear so many bad stories about bike shops, but there are some that really do go beyond the call of duty to help out the cyclist in need.

Seen the shop, not been in. Tend to use Rick Greens in Handforth. Use Macclesfield cycles and Peak cyclesport sometimes. Good to know they are good people as you can never have too many lbs's.
