I also posted this in the folding forum but it seems to be brompton city in there so thought I'd cover all bases and stick it in here too....

I'm still getting my flat bar road bike when it comes out but I'm also gonna get a folder to get to work and back but it needs to also fit in the car.

both around the £500 mark.
which is best in terms of quality?
just gonna be for sticking in the car to cycle the last bit to work and back and take to my local windfarm for a little bit of offroading but nothing major.

Evans also have the tern c21

and d24

but they don't look as good quality.

Alternative would be one of the smaller terns for just getting to work and back..

Any thoughts?

If it was me I would go for the one without suspension forks, you don't need them and they just add weight. The revoshift on the x50 is not universally loved but I guess it's a matter of personal preference.
