I am tempted to take a punt on this: (the link button isn't working)

At present I have a rather ancient Ridgeback Adventure, 18 speed, cheapy SIS derailleurs, heavy steel frame, and it does weigh a ton. It does roll along nicely and I enjoy riding it. The frame size is the same as my present bike. I have been looking for a cheap bike as a project and this looks like a possible contender. My original idea was to cannabilise the Adventure for parts for this frame, but I might be better to simply restore the ebay bike and keep my older bike intact especially as I will need a new front wheel and probably a new back wheel and cassette, which are not compatible with my existing SIS set up.
what do people think. As long as the frame is basically OK is it a realistic prospect.
