okay i'm being the worlds largest idiot and knobber etc
but i just can't work out these tektro road rim brakes (similar style to the shimano with the little black lever on the side the release brakes for removing wheel etc)
how do i set them up at the caliper end they are fine in the 105 STI shifters but at the brake end i'm confused? any vids?
also they won't properly release???
Cheers Ed

i got it in the end!
and why wasn't the rear calliper returning..... i had stupidly clamped the frame in the work stand by the top tube thus trapping the brear brake cable!

Sterling work. I don't think there's a single poster on this forum who hasn't had a maintenance-based piece of bellendery.

well, i have had many
once i put the cones and locking nut and all too far along the axle when rebuilding a hub and just could not work out why the wheel wouldn't fit in on one side! involved rebuilding whole hub again

rebuilding the headstock bearings and thought the steerer ad to stick up above the spacers so left one spacer off and installed stem cap and just couldn't work out why the headstock still had so much play in it :banghead:

the list goes on
Cheers Ed
