I think some (if not all) of the Borders ones do - you want the Borders Sports and Leisure Trust website and there are links to the triathlon series on there.
I don't know of any others personally, but there may be others.

Edited to add: I have assumed you mean triathlons that can be entered by a relay team!

What do you mean by team triathlon events? Just for teams? A good many of the various races offer a relay team option because it encourages people to give it a go.

It's a bit early in the season -- the race calendar hasn't been released yet. What sort of thing were you looking to do?

I was looking for a team relay event for 3 persons to each do a leg of the triathlon as you say so I can give it a go. I've no problems with cycling but it's the running that I can't do as I suffer shin splints

so this would be a good way of having a bit of fun with a triathlon.

Shin splints can be solved, in a lot of cases, by learning correct running technique, being assessed by a podiatrist in case you have poor biomechanics, and exercises to improve the function in your legs.

The first tri of the year (other than New Year's Day, and you won't get an entry for that now) is Tranent in March (some places available, relay team attracts a £10 surcharge). Then there's East Fife (Cupar) in April. After that the calendar opens up somewhat. Keep an eye on www.entrycentral.com and you'll see upcoming races. The Borders series isn't on there, mind. Not all of them are. For a comprehensive list you need to check the calendar on the www.TriathlonScotland.org website.

I'm still recovering from a foot injury that basically ended my season in May. Although I'm hoping to get back to racing next year I haven't tried running since then and the medics are a bit dubious about it. Still, nothing ventured nothing gained. Once the weather improves I'll be back in training and maybe I'll see you at a race next year.

Thanks for the info Sam. Unfortunately I've been down the specialist route and had insole for my feet etc. Even had an operation but I still get pain, nit as bad as previous but none the less it hinders me a lot. I'll definately be looking on to the website you supplied and see whats available.

Cheers
