I wish i was going, was given the oppurtunity to be a steward for it but unfortunatly i would still be cycling down as it was to far for me to go and to expensive to fly etc.
would have loved to do it though, should be an awesome spectacle especially to get people like myself who are new to cycling etc interested.

Watched the launch on Sky TV. Switched off after a few minutes as it was poorly done - bad lighting, bad organisation - delays in people coming on stage, uncertainty as to which side they were coming from... I sincerely hope it's not a sign of things to come. I was very disappointed.
The ride was excellent. I got to spend probably 10 minutes cycling with and chatting to Simon Gerrans. A really nice guy, he seemed really down to earth.
Most of was obviously for the TV cameras so there was a bit of waiting round but well worth it.
The cycling kit looks excellent and it has to be said that the team cars look awesome. My guess is that they'll be the envy of the peloton riding round in black jaguars.
