team Sky and Boardman

Would/Could they ever team up?

I thought about the other day. It would be amazing to see but I suppose Boardman is going to have to prove itself as a brand before it would happen. It's probably more of a marketing thing than a quality thing; how can Boardman compete with the prestige of Pinarello?

I think it could happen, but probably not for a while.

I guess that Boardman can produce a bike good enough for Team Sky. The problem is converting that into additional bike sales, and therefore offsetting the cost of supporting them, i.e. providing bikes and maintenance support.

Boardman are sponsoring an American team to break into the US market.

I think it is more to do with expanding their market share , sponsoring sky would be nice but as Boardmans are well known it would not really help gain potential new sales.
