The last day today with 20 laps of a 4.5 Km circuit. This has got to be the day Greipel seals the race as I can't see another team overcoming HTC on this flat and fast course. However there are some good riders and teams in the race so it should be another exciting day.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I plan on watching it whilst using my turbo trainer. Hopefully I wont be too tired and hopefully it'll be a good stage to watch.

What a turn up for the books "Chris Sutton (Team Sky) takes it!" as reported by Cycling news. Greg Henderson was second so a one/two for Team Sky. That will make the team very happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, another nice result for Sky.
Can't wait for the "real" season to start. Still got to get that bloody Tour of Qatar out of the way yet!;)

There's talk of Greipel being the lead-out man for Cav in the TdF... now that would be a rather unstoppable combination. The way that he's going though, he might not be satisfied with just leading Cav out...

He did look a class above but I'm not sure if the opposition made it look that way. I can't think he'll be happy to lead-out Cav all year but Renshaw has Epstein-Barr syndrome, I believe.

Greipel was good but i dont think he will settle as the lead out man.

That's the reason they've mooted this idea, i think - they are not sure that Renshaw will be fully recovered let alone race-fit and on peak form by the time the TdF comes around.

Greipel has said he's happy to do this, but I notice that last year Columbia-HTC kept he and Cav almost completely separate! And he did win over 20 stages of various races last year, so I don't think his TdU success was just down to 'inferior opposition'...

No, I meant it when I said he was a class above but I think the quality of the opposition means I'll reserve judgement on how good he'll seem later in the season.

Sure, and actually I wish he could race against Cav - it would make things a lot more interesting!

Absolutely. I fear with the decline of Petacchi, Bennati and McEwen that Cav will not have enough serious opposition.
