I rode over a bit of brand new road surface last week and now there are bits of tar over my frame esp on the underside.
Any tips for removing it?

Tar remover works great.

If you do not have the above white spirit will do the trick. Or you could leave it and say it is undersealed.

WD40 on a rag, job done

WD40 (or GT85) on a rag, or if you really want to spend some cash, tar remover from any motorist accessory shop.
