Custom seatpost, BTW that's as low as it goes in the frame.

Is there a chance of that seatpost snapping?
I hope not, it's made of Aircaft Quality tubing and the post itself is 600mm long then with the top of the original seatpost welded into the tube after the guy had turned the clamp off the old seatpost (apparantly it was only glued in originally)
It was converted about 12 years ago after I decided that I was getting a bit old for Downhill/Jump riding (A crash at speed on a gravel Forestry Road in North Wales 'might' have been part of the discision)
I used it as a snow bike for years.

How did you joint the top frame's bottom bracket to the lower one's seat tube?
Its just resting on it at the moment. I ordered an arc welder a week ago, it has not arrived yet. I have made a bracket for the seat post that will be welded to the top frame. It's actually quite solid as it is with the rear stays and steerer tube.
