My winter jacket/jersey is a tag baggy, and I'd enjoy it to be a bit tighter across the chest / body as it is too baggy when in the 'on the bike' position. Has anybody ever had their kit modified in such a way?

I am definitely not confident doing this myself

Does it matter? Really.

If you're not confident about doing the alteration yourself, don't do it.
You might be glad its baggy at present when the colder weather comes.

Eat more pies?
Calling @vernon for some advice here!

(On a serious note, a ballet or dance shop might offer the best advice. They obviously deal with lycra and stretch fabrics in the form of leotards and other dance attire and I'd imagine they would know more about adjusting it than a standard tailor.)

It can be done but I will add not easily ! My team mate did something simular for me and even with an industrial sewing machine and her overlocker it took her sometime lol I know this because of the stern looks I was getting,so if you can find anyone in your area that is able to do dance attire or theatrical stuff they may be the answer.Plus if all else fails my mate says "Safety pins" fix 'owt just bung em in.

I'e been riding a few years and 100% prefer the snug fit - comfier, significantly warmer etc. I have other garments that fit well, but this one is more special to me being uni team kit which I cannot re order or replace (as I have two weeks left at the uni!).

I have played around with safety pins to pull in the side panels a few inches - seems to work. I reckon a fold and stitch should take up the slack but I appreciate the recommendations of a ballet shop - that might be just the ticket!
