Hi all,
This is a very long shot, but worth a try! I have a Tacx Cycletrack Speedmatic T1450 turbo trainer (at least 15 years old, but still working perfectly). Since new, it has been used with my mountain bikes and as such, when I set it up, had to use the slightly longer bolt (supplied in the package) to attach the roller unit to the frame, in order to allow for use with the smaller MTB wheel diameter. I removed the standard issue shorter bolt and put it "somewhere"! I now want to set my road bike up on the turbo, but I'm buggered if I can find the original shorter bolt.
I've been on the Tacx website seeking technical support, but, perhaps unsurprisingly, the T1450 is no longer listed.
If any of you guys out there own a Cycletrack Speedmatic T1450, with a road bike set up on it, could you please measure the length of the bolt with the plastic adjuster knob on it, that attaches between the unit and the frame, and adjusts the pressure of the roller/tyre interface. Hopefully, I can then source a suitable replacement at a hardwear store. Thanks in advance.
