Tacx flux and zwift

Hi all I have just done a free trial with my tacx flux with zwift.

The problem for me was my surface pro 3
I was running it on doesn't have ant+ or Bluetooth 4, as its old,so I used companion app to bridge Bluetooth from my mobile phone But in doing this my smart Control didn't work ie it didn't change resistance. Is this normal? and how can a change this could I buy a ant+ for the USB port on surface pro and if I did would the two way work and control my resistance? Any help surgestions would be appreciated

Someone here may know the answer but if you are on Facebook there’s a flux user group you can ask or on Zwift riders.

I have a Tacx flow rather than a flux, but that sounds like when I was trying to use my laptop on Bluetooth. An Ant+ dongle fixed it and got the trainer working properly

Definitely do the Ant+, it's much more reliable than Bluetooth. Just get yourself a dongle like this one :
