I've now done a few rides of 100 miles plus, always wear my helmet but three/ four days later break out into loads of spots across my forehead, due I would imagine to the sweat in the inserts of my helmet. Yes I do clean the inserts every time I go cycling but its really annoying now as Im 40 and suffering with spots lol

Any advice?

Try wearing a bandana or a buff under your helmet. Might help keep the sweat away from the skin a little better.

I think a sweat rash is actually contagious?
If it is then you'll need to clean the inserts with an anti fungal cream/spray.

The spots could just be an alergic reaction to whatever you last cleaned the helmet with?

I often get spots on extended mountaineering trips, where the rucksack straps sit on my shoulders. I suspect this is because they rub the oils back into the pores as I walk. I wonder if something similar is happening to your head - you might try some antibacterial face wash/shower gel.
