On returning to my commuter the other day, i find the front v brake to be missing. Not just unscrewed and stolen, but both bosses snapped off completly.
Its only a cheap hi ten steel bike i use for getting to work (i do like it though for some reason).
Anyway, im now looking at new forks and ive drawn a blank.
Its a 1inch threaded fork, which just dont seem to exist. The only thing i can find is a surly crosscheck fork thats 1 inch threadless, i assume i can just swap the headset to accomodate this? Would a better fork improve my ride quality at all?
Any help/suggestions of any sort would be most appreciated.
