Suppliers

Hi all , as i'm new to the classic side of cycling i'm unaware of any specialist suppliers , If there are any ? I've always kept our other bikes going with ebay and local bike shops . But as with the classic car scene are there any recommended dedicated suppliers , or is it a case of ebay searches ? I know allot of modern parts are interchangable . I seem to be getting hooked on classics , Missed out on a team banana Falcon by an hour last night , and went to look at a bianchi listed on ebay ( i'll keep an eye on that one ) Any hoo , suppliers ?

As you say modern parts are interchangeable with old ones but as far as I am aware there are no dedicated suppliers of new old parts, if that is what you mean. You have to keep an eye on the classifieds and eBay for bits where you can get NOS parts sometimes.

Hi , yeah that's what i mean . I wondered if their was a supplier , or web site or some such of older styled / NOS / re manufactured parts . But it's just happy hunting then

Hi . Not looking for anything in particular at the moment , just getting a feeling for things , cheers .
