Are the XCR forks any good?

If I turn the adjusters towards the '-' an orange marker appears. So are the forks stiffer then?

TBH cannot notice a difference turning '+' or '-'. So could the adjusters be knacked?

Are the RST Gila pro forks better?

I have the XCR forks on a Giant ds2 and I didnt notice any difference when I turn the adjuster, if someone knows you will be helping two of us, but I was thinking of changing to rock shox

I have XCM the next model down from yours.

The Orange/Left knob is the stiffness, do they call this pre-load?
+ clockwise = hard/slow.
- anticlockwise - loose/fast.

The right knob is rebound/dampening speed, fast or slow.
