Sunbeam Royal tandem

Hi,I've been told its a 1937 sunbeam Royal tandem, with 1977 vintage gearing and brakes, just unable to find serial number in any of the usual places, so like another member mentioned I will remove forks and check tube,hopefully it will not have been replaced, any other information would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance 👍

Surely Liz would never have let Phil pilot the thing ? His crash record in his later years was horrendous……😉
