I want to part with my old bike which ive had since new. Any ideas what i should put it up for sale for, it is in pretty good condition, tyres and tubes seem ok. Has Weinmann 999 brakes, Benelux gears, and Bluemel light weight mudguards. Havent found anything on sold items on Ebay, so no idea of value. Any help would be appreciated

BTW don't expect it to be worth all that much and if it was mine I'd be keeping it til they nailed the lid on.

Yes thats a lovely example, nice and original, just how I like them. You can date these from the frame number or from the stamp on the Williams chainwheel - the codes are on the net. I would love to see more images of the machine. I paid over £200 for mine about 3 years ago, but it was a very clean bike. This is still worth around a £80-100 in my view, as it has plenty of originality and has not been meddled with. It does need work, but this is a pretty straightforward bike to work on.
