Hi,

I'm going for a cycling trip on Thursday to Brittany and having looked at the forecast it's going to be a bit wet and around 10 degrees!!!

We're on hybrid bikes - what sort of upper-half clothing would people recommend of the not too-expensive variety? Would it be best to get a light waterproof jacket and then a base layer for additional warmth rather than an all-in-one jacket? I'd like these to be breathable if possible. I've seen the following, but not sure if these are the best option?

Any alternative suggestions welcome - I need to order by tomorrow though to get these in time for Thursday!

Thanks!

I do an regular trip to Brittany and have generally just used a long sleeve base layer along with a short sleeved cycle jersey when the weather is bad. I have also used a Montane Featherlite Velo jacket before on the worst days, but gave up as it was too hot. Layering is definitely the way to go.

Either/both of what you have suggested would be fine in my opinion.
