I'm delivering my old Dawes Mojave to its new owner tomorrow, and he knows he's bought it without a saddle ('cos the Brooks on it fits my backside and I binned to original one ages ago).
When I was arranging delivery with him just now, he asked me what I'd recommend by way of a saddle. I said I had no idea, but I'd ask and let him know tomorrow.
So, any ideas please? All you have to go on is that apparently he's a big lad and well heavy, the bike's a 23" frame with straight bars, and the seatpost in it is an ally one with the "micro" adjustment to clamp rails like on a Brooks B17.
I'm also giving him a bog standard cheapo seatpost of the type which has a smaller diameter at the top to which the old-fashioned type of seat clamp thingy fits, so AFAIK whatever saddle he gets will be fittable (and if that's not a word, it should be).
Given that he's paying me £100 for the bike, I doubt he wants to spend more than he has to on a saddle for it.
Any suggestions most welcome!
