Trying to persuade a part time cyclist friend to do it, so if he is up for it then I will do it. Most likely on my hybrid as that is what he has and it wouldn't really be fair to do it on the roadie.

Did it a couple of years ago after hardly any training and found it fine, pretty flat!

My knee decided to give me lots of pain in the last 20 miles but that's my IT band issue rather than a reflection on the route!

Considering doing it again but need to get more miles in and check my knee before committing

I should be doing it, along with my wife, son and Rezillo. Nice, fairly easy ride and by then the sand and gravel the rain washed onto the roads earlier in the year should have dissipated. My son enjoyed it last year but it must have been darned annoying for anyone struggling up a hill to be overtaken at speed by some 12 year old squirt who called out a chirpy "good morning" to everyone he shot by!

Did it a few years ago. Probably my second or third organised event and certainly the furtherest I'd done. Definitely manageable and pretty much flat. Make sure you take time out for an ice cream on the beach front at Southwold too.

Did it last year and it is a very nice ride. Takes a while to get there by car though - big queues to get to the start.
