Just saw this http://www.cyclingweekly.co.uk/news/latest/509102/scandal-in-the-forest-of-glentress.html seems a shame but i suppose its the nature of the beast and there would appear to be a bit of money to be made. Lets hope it improves things even more.

Didn't improve Coed Y Brenin when it happened to them.

The new cafe looked very nice, but it wasn't designed by mountain bikers. You couldn't even sit down where you could watch your bike when I was there.

Agree, ByC not been the same since.

Bureaucracy and red tape getting in the way of common sense and ignorring the wishes of the customer. Daft.

I think it's a real shame, and I feel really sorry for Emma and Tracy, I'm also concerned as to why the money has been spent on the new centre, (not like the countries flush with public cash right now), the real attraction is the quality of mountian bike trails, loads of people already go there without the need for a big expensive log cabin to sit in before or after the ride, or perhaps the new target customers won't be interesed in the riding.

Same thing happening at Glyncorrwg (Whites/Skyline). Had heard this a while ago but forgot. Now this is a real shame, almost the best part of the 400mile round trip for a days riding.
