@numbnuts there was a thread on here a couple of years ago.
I'm pretty sure @fossyant (among others) said they used this service at home.
I haven't used it myself, as I print a page every blue moon

Which manufacturer?
I'm banned from the HP scheme due to using too much. It came with the printer, but I'd gone through the first set the same day, and the replacements I'd to buy.

Most manufacturers count a page as a sheet of A4 with 10% coverage for the purposes of counting sheets per cartridge. Which isn't even a letter printed on A4.

Same, in the end i invested in a printer that has ink reservoirs in them and it works out so much cheaper (for me). You just buy bottles of ink.

HP works for us and the monthly subs can be adjusted depending on use. You get roll over pages as well. We dropped to the cheapest plan, then MrsF kept getting digital sewing patterns that needed printing so went back to the £5.99 plan. Ink arrives way before you need it and you'll be advised to replace the cartridge before it runs out.

It's not the cheapest but works for us when printing can be a little or suddenly alot.

HP Scheme too. No saving but no extra cost apart from one month when I failed to clock my usage was outside the terms. Minor additional expense but pay heed to the emails you get if you are going over. Wasn't convinced at the start but happier now.

I'm on the HP scheme, It works out cheaper than buying the ink separately and you get the replacements well before the current lot run out. You're also guaranteed good quality ink with no compatibility issues.

+1 (although the price has gone up since I started using about 8 years ago), I'm on the 50 pages a month, may have once exceeded (don't print envelopes but did do pages of addresses on sticky labels for my mum's Xmas cards within the allowance). Just goes oyt on my credit card, don't even notice and don't have the hassle of buying cartridges. They even supply a freepost bag to return the old ones for recycling
