Sub-£1000 Genesis Equilibrium 20 2017

I have my finger hovering over the 'BUY' button for last seasons Genesis Equilibrium 20 2017.

A very well specced, solid, beautiful steel frame.

It's my first proper geared bike.
I ride lots of multi-day backpack tours, triathlons and daily commuting.

I can find very few recent reviews on the model.

I will attempt to take one for a test ride next week, but would be great to get any reviews from current users.

Any thoughts?

I've had 3 bikes for at least 3 years now and the other for a year ...and one for over 5!

I'm not sure how much they've changed the frameset if at all for years, other than the colour...nothing will of course beat the burnt copper of 2013
