Once we know what hub it is , then we can offer better info, but if it is a chromed steel shell it is likely to be a AW, ......we shall have to wait

Is there any particular reason why you are changing the sprocket? It looks serviceable. I've got a 3/32 chain-ring with a 1/8 sprocket and chain.

The front chain wheel and 3/32 chain fit together, but the chain doesn't fit the rear sprocket. I think the rear sprocket it too wide after looking at it today.

Just to reiterate as already mentioned upstream, 3 speed sprockets for SA, Nexus and SRAM are all interchangeable.

Some of them are dished, and can be fitted either way round to help with getting a good chain line :okay:

The two sprockets show have different internal dia, as I thought they were all the same so bought the new one to fit the chain and it wont fit on the hub. Hence my confusion.

This would seem to be the most straight forward. I might try a belt sander on the old sprocket and see how much needs to come off it to fit the chain. Thanks for all the comments and if anyone wants the new sprocket feel free to say.

Clean it up, if the teeth have worn, you could try reversing the cog ,ie just turn it over,often done by the old scrotes who used 3 SPD IGR's
The shiny new one won't fit an AW , looks like it's one of modern SF types.
There are loads of AW gears out there but they will be1/8 th, not 3/32 "

If looked after , that IGR will still be in use after you long hung up your boots.
The joys of good old British engineering !

It looks like a dished sprocket. If he turns it over then the chain line may no longer be straight.

Don't think that matters so much as a deralliurr system, but true it won't be as straight, but to get the system working ,it's a dodge,
But there's loads of gear cogs out there

A skewed chain will come off when you're freewheeling as their isn't a chain tensioner. DAMHIKT :smile:

Mudguards inclusive! I appluad your efforts, a rear rack for bags or a good old style saddle bag will improve it's usefulness.
