stupid question

hi guys/gals

stupid question (gonna be loads more than this im afraid) i brought some specialized p2 overendz bar ends, now before i go and do the complete wrong thing. how do i fit them? the bar grips are to thick so do i have to cut the grips down on the ends?

sorry i just aint got a clue

I have those on my Sirrus, along with ergo grips. I'm presuming you have a flat barred bike too - Loosen the little allen key nuts & move the gear shifter, brakes & grips up a cm or so until he bar ends can fit on x

ahh i see so instead of taking a cm of the grip just cut the ends of the grip and move things up a bit, thanks alot for that

Assuming the grips currently cover the end of the handlebar, I would cut a circular piece out of the end of the grip just wide enough to allow the grip to be shifted inboard - will probably make a neater job - if not you still have the option of reverting to plan A. Alternatively, buy some new open-ended grips.
