Wear one of these and they won't see you as a threat.

The same thing happened to me. The only time I have ever been stung.
It was one of the reasons for ditching a helmet.

And before anyone say's you can get helmets with mesh. Well it did have. The little Bee fecker, as it was a bee.. got sucked in one of the side vents.

If it still hurts and is red and swollen in a couple of days go and see your GP because the wasp will have given you a bacterial infection. They are very dirty.

Ah, sucks, it must have been stuck in there for a while and felt threatened as bee's rarely sting....or you were near a hive.

Don't know how long it had been there, never felt anything get trapped, and first I knew was when there was a sudden intense pain on my head. Pulled over and took helmet off and brushed off my head, but didnt see anything.

Got to work two mins later, and a colleague pulled the stinger out of my head.

Been years since i was stung and forgot how much it hurts. Had pain killers and just feels like a bit of a headache now. Not swollen very much. Hopefully it will subside before the ride home tonight

Got stung by a wasp right between the eyes recently - can't say it hurt much, just like a dull thud. I is 'ARD !!

Antihistamine is the answer - hayfever tablets - ask if anyone has one !
