Stuck cable stop in Carbon frame

Had my rear gear cable fray and eventually snap so have been giving internal cable routing a go for the first time since getting this bike. Annoyingly it seems like there's a cable stop stuck in the frame. I've tried soaking it in gt85 but no luck. Any tricks to get these out? Does t help that the part which extrudes from the frame is a soft plastic, so there's not much to grab on to with pliers

Maybe gently screw in a suitable size wood screw and its threads will bite and offer purchase?
Edit: But be sure that its extraction is worth the risk.

Wow, thank you! When I first saw this I thought it was a bit drastic, but I gave it a try and what do you know, it's fully out! Thank this reply, you've saved me a lot of frustration!
