Does anyone know how to contact Stronglight Components directly? I bought a pair of Stronglight CT2 chainrings off Dereks Cycles via Ebay, but the inner ring is a different finish to the outer, (it shouldn't be and they have agreed this).
DC are now out of stock and I can't find another anywhere. The big ring is perfect, matt black with black teeth, but the small one is gloss black with silver teeth and even has different decals.
DC have been very fair, offering me the small one for half price, and even saying I could use the small one and they will swop it when they get the right stock in, but I'm concerned with no-one else having it that it's now out of production and I'll not get the right one.
While DC have been excellent via email they are useless when you phone them, I've never got through yet or I would ask them about contacting Stronglight.
I know a lot of distributors don't talk to Joe Public, but I need to find out if I will be able to get a matching small ring, otherwise I'll have to return them both to DC and look for an alternative.
Any help appreciated.
Thanks
Jon

I was able to communicate with Stronglight directly in August at contact@stronglight.com

I bought my CT2 rings from here:

http://www.xxcycle.com/php/boutique/page.php?nom=RAYON&from=moteurDeRecherche&optionRecherche=&tri=prix,ASC&onlySearch=auMieux&comparatif=&catSearch=&txtSearch=ct2&marqueSearch=31

Arrived in under a week (I think they were cheaper than anywhere in the UK as well).

Derek sold you non-matching rings though - nowt to do with Stronglight.
+1 to this your contract is with the seller and it is up to them to put it right , unless the picture/ description or communication from the seller stated they would be not matched then you have every right to expect them to be right.

Thanks for that amaferanga, they've got the size I want so that should be a good work round to get me sorted
CK - DC will sort me out but they simply can't supply the correct inner ring I need so I'm just trying to source one myself, if I can't I'll return both rings to DC for a full refund and start over, but if I can source the correct inner ring I'll just return the small one to them. Apart from not answering the phone DC have been very helpful in trying to resolve the matter.

In fact, while they have the size I didn't realise how many different versions there was! My bike is Shimano 10 speed, so which one would you guys go for, if I'm importing it I obviously wnat to be 100% certain I'm ordering the right one.
I'm thinking this one is right, http://www.xxcycle.com/110-ct2-2-10-11-speed,,en.php , but I certainly won't be offended to be told I'm wrong:whistle:

Ah well, I've bitten the bullet and ordered them, should be fine
I did get an email response from Stronglight, and TBH it was as much use as a one legged man in an arse kicking contest.
Anyhoo, I've got a dispatch confirmation email from xxcycle.com with a tracking number for Chronopost, so with a bit of luck they might arrive before Christmas, fingers crossed then I can get some miles in while I'm off work over Christmas

Ordered my rings on Sunday 18th December, received them today, 20th December! That is freakin' awesome service from Germany or Holland or wherever it is xxcycle.com operate from:thumbsup:
Quickly fitted to check everything is ok, and it all seems spot on. I'll torque the bolts, fit my new chain, fettle the front mech and clean her up at weekend ready for :santa:
