Strava on iPhone - Anyone else having problems ?

Is anyone else having problems with Strava on iPhone

For the last few weeks it is not recording the whole journey, just the start and finish

I have tried all the tricks on the FAQ, including removing and reinstalling, to no aval

I've had problems with Strava missing parts of my rides, or the app just crashing part way through - I can't help feeling there's a memory loss bug in there somewhere. These days my approach is to fully quit the Strava app and do a full shutdown of my iPhone (a 5c), then restart the iPhone and relaunch the app before each ride. Given what you say, I suspect that won't help you, but it might be worth saying.

Nope, no issues with 6s

Strangely enough, no problems on the return commute tonight on the 6s.

and I didn't do none of the fiddling to get it to work either

UPDATE : Problem seems to have sorted itself out, after doing the latest iPhone software update

Changed phones recently and Strava has been dipping in and out. Straight lines on most runs now.

I think the GPS on the new Nokia isn't up to it.

The problem has now returned - straight lines and/or 0 distance

I have tried resetting my network settings to see if that helps.

This seems to have cured the problem
