Strange?

I've been riding a year now wearing a dhb aeron pro bib. Really comfy and nice. Never had pain from it. It was a large but I'm only 5ft 5 so a little big on the legs but fitted me nice as I carry a belly
The belly is getting smaller and the bib now has a hole so I fancied a change and bought a capo padrone bib. I got told italian stuff comes up small but capo is made in California. I went to the shop and tried the large and extra large. The large fitted my legs better and didn't feel to tight, rode today and my arse was killing 10miles in. Any ideas what this could be or could it just be a coinstantaneous?

A what? Coincidence? It'll have a different pad, maybe the dhb one just fits you better!

At a guess I'd say the padding in the dhb aeron is better quality hence the better comfort. Just a guess though?

If the bib is to small could that course pain?
