Strange adverts

Today I started getting adverts for a Romanian relationship counsellor at the top of the cc site

No idea why that would be. Anyone else seeing the same?

Is it the fact that you are seeing ANY ads or THAT ad that concerns you?

I don't see any ads after paying the CC account upgrade fee. Which reminds me... when does that run out? [Checks...] Ah - mine is on November 17th.

That particular ad surprised me as it is in Romanian, so I presume aimed at Romanian speakers, which I am not, and I don't know how many there are among cc's regulars.

I usually get cycling related ads.

According to the advert they'll be loads of desperate women throwing themselves at you, if you don't want them could you send them my way please?

Ads are typically driven by algorithms to meet the user's needs but they always get the language right. So this seems odd.
