1st clipless tonight so how do I go about straightening out my shifters if that is what they are called.
They work fine but now are just at a stupid angle.

I did try and briefly push them back but they are solid.
The corner took the whole weight of the me and bike going tits up in the hedge.
Flat pedal are now back on at least for the time being. i don't mind taking a fall but dear god don't hurt the poor bike

Prise the side flap of the hood back and that will reveal a hex bolt. Undo, straighten and then re-tighten.

I had a Clipless moment 3 weeks ago and bent my Tiagra shifters exactly the same side and angle I've still gotta straighten them out but i refuse to give up with the Clipless pedals but it is gutting damaging the bike.!

As long as I breathe, I attack.
This is what mine looked like after my pothole incident ...

It is bent at 90 degrees and the brake lever has ben pulled off.

I managed to bend it back and get the brake lever back on , i hope it has not been weakened to much as the LBS quoted me £210 to install a new brifter. .. thats right for just i side.

Yea I can't decide about sticking with it not. Broke my heart scratching the bike I had it in perfect nick for a year. It was my own fault of course I turned onto a hill in way too high a gear and didn't have time to change right down. So I ground to halt. Thought I had is sussed got my right foot out and just about to give my self a pat on the back when I leaned too the left doh
After that I was a bit of a wobbly wreck at the lights and junctions I had to deal with later. But I remember pulling on the upstroke with out thinking and feeling the extra power so that could swing it

Even the usual discounters have a set of Apex shifters at £289... £210 to supply & fit a single one is probably reasonable.
