I really like straight forks. It's almost like an AA meeting...
Anyhow, I was thinking, if I put something like these on my bike, which currently has carbon forks with a bit of rake, would something catastrophic happen? Surely something wouldn't feel / look right in terms of the angle of the bike / wheel?

So called straight forks are rarely if ever straight, for regular head angles they feature some measure of offset or rake, it's just built in at the crown rather than in the bend. Kona P2 fork and Colnago's classic steel 'straight' forks don't line up with the steerer centre line. Offset is measured from the centre line of the steer tube to the centre of the drop-out and needs to be suitable for your frame's head angle.

It's the rake that matters. Most forks have rake, most are 43 or 45mm. You won't notice a change of 2mm. Straight forks aren't even really stiffer than curved ones. Fatter ones are stiffer than thinner ones (given the same material). Those TT forks may be stiffer than the thinner forks they replace and you may notice the difference (bumpier ride). But you might not.

Thanks for that. It's just a whim really, there's no reason why I need new forks at all (touch wood lots of times)

I've got a pair of those Black Stream on my fixed. They're very good if a little heavy for a carbon fork. The inside of the steerer isn't very smooth though (looks like someones attacked it with a chisel) which makes no structural difference but it can make it difficult to tighten the headset as the bung can slip a bit.

They're not perfectly straight either. It's hard to tell from the photos but the blades do have a slight curve to them which is pretty obvious once on the bike.

Get them here for a couple of quid less than those you linked to. I've had good customer service from Cycling Bargains so happy to recommend them.
