Stow Maries Airfield Needs Support

They're in danger of going bust because the water board has put a Road Closed sign at the end of the lane.

The only remaining first world war airfield in Britain.

That sounds like such a cop-out from the water company, what a shame!

It seems to me that all they needed to do was put a sign up: "Access to businesses open as usual". It's bad that the water board didn't even know that the air museum was there, who did they think they were billing for water.

I've never heard of the place. Love visiting things like this. It's unlikely for me to go, given where it is, but just to know places like this still exist gives me a warm feeling.
Hopefully the extra publicity will give them a boost.
