No, I sort of disagree. Assault is assault whatever the gender. As a bobby, the worst violence I dealt with towards me (apart from a bloke with a claw hanmmer) was from females. I had NO hesitation in putting them on their @rses for it. The law provides anyone with a right to be able to use reasonable force in self defence. The bloke in the film showed admirable restraint though.
