Hi all, am wondering how you store your bikes.. are they all cuddled up in a warm garage?

There are some lovely bikes on here, and out there for sale but am limited in storage, so wondering what everyone else does. Any tips on how to store bikes or keep them as clean as possible appreciated.

I can see a vintage bike in my future..

I guess that I am lucky in as much as we have a nice dry cellar ! which also has a door out onto the road at the back of us so great nice and easy access and plenty of room for !

I can see a trend here...

I was allowed to bring my junk (£20) bike inside to clean / work on it today so perhaps...

Plans to be made... I wondered how you all kept your bikes so lovely.

I think the "trend" to keeping them inside is that they are expensive £££
And treasured as they should be.
I have waterproof sheds (brick construction) so could utilise one of those but inside at the moment is a bit of a no go (unless I kick out my OH or kids..)

Will have a look at space and hanging options.

Do any of you use set covers? i.e. blankets / bike covers ?

I Do put blankets over them "yes" Only to keep the cats from using the bikes as a climbing frame ...

My bikes are also in a spare bedroom. I never leave them outside, because it tends to encourage rust. The only drawback with leaving them inside is that you have to use something to protect the floor and walls, and bringing the bike inside on a wet day can be tricky.
