Any ideas?, I thought maybe a wall around the hole that deflects the wind would that work?.
Thanks.
Thanks.
I do a fair bit of work as a tv sound recordist. Dab a spot of glue onto a small piece of foam and glue it over the hole. Then, get a long-haired piece of material (google Rycote mini wind jammer to see what I mean) and stick that over the foam and body of the camera.
Is this the principle behind the "shaggy microphones" of the 1980's?
They are called "dead cats" or "dead kittens" nowadays
I'm very much a cat person - I'll stick to calling them Shaggy

So am I. Thhe idea of using a "dead" one for such purposes is sick. Cannot imagine my cat with a microphone rammed up her arse!
Bit of tape usually works for a cam on a bike.

Neither can I. That said I did see some beautiful speakers shaped as Sitting Tigers once!!! One offs and pretty much priceless as I recall.
