For those who have stone cills…the paint is severely wrinkling up on them.
I’ve done one back to the stone which revealed roughly 100 years of paint and about 30 layers.
For those who have stone cills how do you strip them?

If you're brave enough, you can use hydrochloric acid.

I think I just used a wire brush on the flakey bits and 80 grit paper. Then straight on with Wickes water based masonry paint. If it's not peeling off I don't think there is a need to remove it, important thing is to give it a key.
