So I picked my bike on July 19, applied for cycle two work on the Monday and was approved the same day .... and am still waiting (:

Apparently it can take up to four weeks, but the scheme say they have invoiced, my firm now say they have paid, so why do I have to wait, oh, all of at least three days since it was paid lol.

Apparently I may have my voucher by Friday - if so, I am cycling on Saturday

I got my voucher on saturday and will be picking up my Defy on Friday tomorrow - a whole 11 days from application to getting the voucher and then 6 days for the shop to get the bike and have it ready (including 2 closed days)..

...have you been checking your Cyclescheme page to see the progress? I am sure it must be in the post by now.

Suddenly I feel that my five day wait from application to pickup wasn't so bad after all, even if I did have to take it back to get the brakes properly tensioned and centred and the gears sorted out.

Cool blue :-)

I have gone for the Trek 7.3 wsd in bright white ... it has been in the shop since the day I reserved it!

I have been checking the site, but my application has not moved along to the third stage yet ... I think I may call them tomorrow.

From me signing the 'hire agreement' and sending it back to Cyclescheme, it only took two days for the guage to move from 2nd to 3rd (voucher posted out)...so I am guessing that they haven't got your signed agreement back with authorisation from work.

Indeed, give them a call and find out where the hold up is.

On the bright side, at least your employer offers the scheme.

I work for probably the only government organisation that for some reason does not offer the scheme, though apparently they are thinking about it for this summer, but only using one online bike shop for folks to get their bike from, seems kinda odd to me. Strange decision to make for a government (previous administration granted) who have pushed the scheme so much over the past few years not to look after their own.

They have my application and I am on stage 2, my company have been invoiced and say they have paid, apparently it is the BACS transfer system which is causing the delay. They have promised to have it out to me by first class post when they can .... I am now hoping for NEXT weekend.
