stiff link

I've recently put a new chain on my Brompton, but one of the links is stiff. Is there anything I can do to loosen it up?

If you have a chain tool you can adjust it a bit (be careful not to push the pin out though).

If the pin looks to be uniform with the others then using a cloth, grasp the chain on each side of the offending link and twist the chain in opposite directions. If this doesn't cure the problem you should use the alternative bridge on the chain tool i.e. the one closest to the handle to ease the pin slightly inwards. If all fails then start again.
